La risposta di Starbucks alla domanda “Perchè non anche in Italia?”
Oggi sono finito, per mezzo di un post pubblicato sul blog Cultural Moments, su un articolo relativo a Starbucks di un altro blog, Big Brother Blog. L’autore afferma che, dopo aver passato lungo tempo in Inghilterra ed essersi innamorato dei Coffee Shop della sirena, ha provato a contattare l’azienda e a chiedergli se non hanno intenzione (e in tal caso perchè) di aprirne un po’ anche nel nostro Paese.
La risposta dell’azienda è stata chiara: hanno bisogno di una società italiana che gestisca tutti gli Starbucks sul territorio nazionale. E questo già, noi, lo sapevamo. Infatti Starbucks non ha mai dato in mano a singoli privati la gestione di un negozio ma sempre a grandi società, che si accorpassero la gestione di un centinaio o più di Coffee Shop.
Di seguito, comunque, la mail inviata da Alessandro e, subito dopo, la risposta di Starbucks.
After have spent a lot of time in UK in London I am very interesting to start a new business: Starbucks in Italy. Cause here there are a lot of people between Milano and Rome wich wants to spent ”Starbucks Time”. Italy is ready for starbucks! Wireless internet, 30 min Cappucino, no more ”Fast and Furious” cafe, Books to read in relax, Books to write in relax too,students meeting or just spent little time to see people walking down the street. When Starbucks enters new countries, we generally do so through a joint venture with a leading retail company who then maintains responsibility for opening and operating all Starbucks stores throughout the country.
